Custom Fields are useful when you have additional fields of data to map that are not default fields in the Ytel Contact Center system. Based on the data you are uploading to your data list, you will first want to create the custom fields needed, this way you can select them when mapping fields.
Navigate to Data Management > Custom fields
Click the Add (+) icon (toward the right of the page) for the campaign you want to add custom leads to. If custom fields already exist, you can click the modify button
Once you are on the page below, click Add Custom Field.
You will then see this form, fill it out and then click submit (fields with a red asterisk are required). Hover over the fields for additional information.
The field will now have been added for that list. Repeat this process if you have additional custom fields to create for the data list.
If you wish to use existing custom fields from one list to another, click the "Copy fields to list" tab. Select the "From list ID" and the "To list ID" and the copy type.
Note: Ytel recommends that custom fields be used only if the default fields are not sufficient for your leads. In our experience, not using any of the default fields and just using custom ones can make things much harder to keep organized.
