In this article, we are going to go over how to reset a data list. This is commonly also known as "recycling" a list. Typically you will want to reset a list once all its dialable leads have been called. A list will not reset itself, so you will need to manually reset it. Resetting the list will allow you to call all leads that are deemed dialable by system settings and have dialable statuses selected that you wish to call again (Dial status settings can be located on the campaign menu by clicking the bell icon). Below we are going to tackle how to reset a list on the Ytel Contact Center system.
Step one- You will want to be logged into your contact center dashboard.
Step two- Using the dashboard menu on the left of the screen, navigate to
Data management > Data lists:
Step three- Locate the data list you wish to reset
(tip- Use the search filter at the top-right of the screen to locate your list quickly)
Click the "Reset list" icon for the list you wish to reset.
Your reset is now complete, you may click the Report icon for the data list to see how many dialable leads are in the list to call. You can also navigate to Campaign > Campaign, and click the List icon for the campaign this data list is associated with, this will show current dialable leads and leads in the hopper.
There is not a way for the system to automatically reset a data list, however, you can create reset times for each data list. Reset Times will tell the system to automatically reset the list at the time(s) specified.
Click the Modify button for the data list in question, and scroll down to "Reset Times"
This field allows you to put times in, separated by a dash-, that this list will be automatically reset by the system. The times must be in 24-hour format with no punctuation, for example, 0800-1700 would reset the list at 8 AM and 5 PM every day.
Important things to keep in mind:
Only statuses that you have selected in Campaign > Campaign, Dial Status (bell icon) will be dialable
Click the Report icon prior to resetting your list to view how many dialable leads are left
If you ever want to export a list, click the "Download" button that will download all leads in the list with their status.
