To get to the audio upload page, click Settings > Audio
Audio files are required so you can have prompts for Call Menus, hold music, etc etc.
You will need to upload your audio files here first, then they will appear in your dropdown selections when choosing audio files for various functions.
Uploading Pre-recorded files:
The files must be saved as PCM 8-bit mono 16Khz
To upload files, they need to be in the .wav, .gsm, or .mp3 files.
When your audio file is ready click “browse”, locate the file on your computer and click "Upload"
The audio file, upon completion of uploading, will now be available for use.
As always, before deploying campaigns or new call menus, please test before dialing.
If you do not already have an audio file created you can record one using the record audio button.
Recording audio file to upload:
First make sure your mic is enabled.
Click on "Record Audio" on the top right. Here is a link to record audio.
Click on "Record" to begin recording, once you're done recording click on "Stop".
Then it will prompt you to fill in your email so that audio file can be sent to your email click "I'M Happy, Send Audio to Ytel" when you're done.
Then grab the audio file from the email and add the audio file.
As always, before deploying campaigns or new call menus, please test before dialing.
*Note: While we don't endorse or represent any one audio program over another, we have several customers who use Audacity to ensure their files are in the correct format.
